Overview
IGLOO STAY IN MANALI
Igloos, as you probably know very well, are traditionally constructed from snow that has been packed down, moistened, and formed into blocks. These blocks are then layered one atop another to form a dome-shaped shelter. It was traditionally constructed in arctic areas, but in recent years it has gained popularity as a tourist attraction and component of hospitality all over the globe. In the last 5 years or so, Sethan, near Manali, has established itself as the igloo hub in India, thus offering a newer aspect of wintertime experience to the tourists. The location of the igloos amidst evergreen conifers and surrounded by massive snow-covered mountain ranges in itself is a mesmerizing scene. It is an excellent location for an igloo to last for at least two months, which requires a significant amount of labor towards construction and maintenance. Sethan, is the first location in India that allows one to spend the Himalayan winter night in complete natural habitat along with the coziness of one’s own bedroom. We have been constructing igloos in this region of Manali for quite some time now, and every year we try to provide the highest possible level of service to our valued customers. We extend an invitation to any and all intrepid travelers and explorers to come and spend the night in an igloo, to participate in something that will leave an impression on you for the rest of your life. Considering the rapid pace of global warming, there is little doubt that in a few decades down the line, these beautiful man-made natural habitats will be relegated to the annals of history and can only be seen in photographs. If you want to have a happy weekend and spend the night in an igloo, here is your opportunity to go to the Northern Himalayas in the wintertime and experience it for yourself.

➽ Itinerary of Trek
After arriving in Manali, you will need to take a taxi or other local conveyance to go to Prini, where our representatives will be waiting to take you to the next part of the itinerary. After that, start driving in the direction of Sethan Village, which is tucked away in the Hampta Range beyond Manali. The road winds its way up into the trees while going through an opening in a barrier that is part of a Hydro Project. The forests of deodar, pine, spruce, and walnut are enormous, and as a result, the environment around them is becoming more primaeval, gigantic, and thick. This thrilling journey offers a constant glimpse of the expansive valley scenery and is an excellent way to begin a weekend excursion of shorter duration. Soon, the tight turns will begin to straighten out, and after a little distance, we will arrive at Sethan village, a very ancient cluster of homes. After we have arrived at the settlement, we will continue our journey by descending a short distance to the famous igloo camp, where we will spend the night. Prior to that, one has the ability to have a bonfire, a barbecue, to play in the snow, to go on slides, to ski, and much more. After that, you should try spending the night in an igloo, which is an incredible method to get a better understanding of natural phenomena. In contrast to one's presumption, the inside of the snow-covered edifice is toasty and welcoming. Nevertheless, get an incredible night's sleep inside an igloo and spend the rest of the night dreaming about snowfall inside your igloo.
Because the travel won't take too long, you may have a relaxed start to the day. Have a hearty breakfast, and then get your 4x4 car and go again on the road to Manali. After arriving at Manali, travellers are free to go on to the next stop on their journey.

Everything about our visit to Prashar lake was better than we could have imagined. From our initial contact with Himalayan Adventure Trips, we felt their genuine interest in learning about our group's goals and expectations, and our travels with them reinforced at every turn that they not only understood our requirements but also have the acute skill and expertise to achieve them. Having already had such a wonderful experience with this firm, I will be promoting a trek to Prashar lake to all my friends who share my passion for hiking and will specifically recommend that they work with this outfit. Absolutely fantastic; I have nothing but praise for it.
